BTTB Internet Down due to Submarine Cable Cut


BTTB Internet Service is Down for about last 14 Hours. The Internet Service become Down at 13 November, 2007, at 00:53 BDT (Bangladesh Time).

An unconfirmed source informed me that there was a fiber cut at two location between CoxBazar to Chittagong. One is "Rangunia" and Other is "Sitakundo"

BTTB Source said they are working on recover the system soon. In morning when I called BTTB personal, he told me it will be up by 12:00 BDT. Now it is 15:30 BDT, Service is still Down. BTTB Personal denied to tell details about the problem. They even denied any 'Fiber Cut'. From 14:00 BDT, BTTB personals cell phone is switch off. Currently they are unreachable.

At this moment, I am too busy to working with transfer some links. I am monitoring the issue, will update you on any update.
